Business Reports VS Payments (SALES)
Date range report under Payments is giving me a lower sales total than the Traffic and Sales Dashboard for the same period.
Has anyone had this issue and do we know why? TIA.

Date range reports should be correct
Sales dashboard I believe can include cancelled orders etc
If you are vat registered, on the date range report, the vat on sales is in the bottom right hand box under Tax and therefore needs adding on to the income figure on the left as that is a net figure

Just to note there is a difference in dates between the two reports.
Date Range Report is based on the date the order is marked as despatched
Traffic and Sales Dashboard is based on the date the sale is made
Also as Little Shop says there can be other things such as refunds, cancellations which appear on one and not the other. Date Range Reports is the best to use.

Unless there is a way to include, Sales Dashboard does not include postage.
