Return and fees
Hey all,
I’m sure this has been dealt with before but I am getting frustrated getting a straight answer out of seller support…
I had an item sell that was never delivered and the buyer was refunded. Even though the money was refunded to the buyer I will, never-the-less charged about £7 by Amazon. Am I right in my assumption that, no matter what happens, that money is gone and Amazon will not refund it.
So, if the item is found and put back into my inventory I will not be refunde dthe £7 meaning that I paid £7 to Amazon for nothing?

That’s correct, any fees related to fulfillment of the order by Amazon will not be refunded, however you will be credited the final value fees, apart from a small transaction processing charge.

Been getting extremely frustrated with Seller Support for the same reason. Spoken to them several times, never got a straight answer (wonder why, they have a conscience maybe? Ha!) but ultimately I’ve been charged full FBA fees for 2 separate items that never got delivered…
Sorry, seems like that’s just the way it is.

If it is shipped via amazon you can raise a safe t claim for lost and get a refund.
Amazon ship our stuff and if lost we claim back and get our money back.
