Why is every item I request approval says 'not accepting applications?"
Hi all!!!
Every product I try to request approval for says not excepting applications. Any answers or suggestions? Also, why does it give you the option to still apply for approval if they are not accepting applications?

Are you trying to get approval for branded items? Most brands have put a stop to allowing their products to be sold on Amazon.

If this is for grocery items that catagory seems to be closed if you are not a brand owner due to how much RA was going on.

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that you are trying to get approval for some brands and we are not accepting applications for those brands. The Products That Require Approval help page should be able to answer your questions. When applying to sell, having a letter of authorization from the brand directly will also help with your approval. Make sure that you are working with authorized distributors from the brand as well.
Regarding your question, why does it give you the option to still apply for approval if they are not accepting applications? I have not seen this happen, however, if you would like me to check, please provide me with the ASIN or Seller Support case you have on this issue so I can take a look.
