I dont know how to solve the puzzle! We get the following message on inactive items and no matter what we do it just never sorts itself out. Anyone know what to do beyond the few obvious steps -

The selling price was identified as a potential high pricing error. Please review the potential pricing error.

There are a couple things to consider.

Start with the fact that Amazon doesn't care if the item is active or not. They are letting you know that when you restock it the price is going to be high and the item will probably will be suppressed.

In MY case I put in a 'placeholder digit in front of the real price to prevent any 'zombie sales' on my out of stock items. That always results in the high price error notice.

To fix the 'normal' ones, have you put in the 'min - max' prices on the inventory page for the ASINs? That normally fixes the issue for me (not on my purposeful high priced ones).

Hi @Seller_jHggFW7LaGppi,

Thanks for the thread here!

To prevent pricing errors, please ensure that "Your Maximum Price" set for your ASIN is greater than the Sale/Business price. Also, that "Your Minimum Price" set for your ASIN is lesser than the Sale/Business.

Please take a look at this help page for more information: Unblock listings that have pricing errors - Troubleshoot pricing and other listing errors

Please let me know if this helps and if you have any additional questions!
