Amazon assigned wrong Shipping Template to my listings
I have 2 shipping templates setup.
One offers free postage for my more expensive items, the other charges a set fee for postage of my cheaper items.
My default template for new listings was the free postage one.
A few days ago I changed the default template to the one that charges postage.
Today I have listed lots of new cheap items. I was listing by a third party app that does not yet send the shipping template to use. However, as my default is now the one that charges shipping I thought everything would be ok.
However, several items sold and I noticed it was free shipping. Ive looked in my inventory and sure enough the listings are using the free shipping template. How come my new listings are not using the default shipping template?

Try suspending (delete) free shipping template. Your third party app I assume is only feeding inventory & descriptions to Amazon.

Try creating 1 new listing, manually using the Sell Yours option button etc - see which Shipping Template comes up as the default.
If not the right one, contact SS and ask they fix your account so that the correct template is use by default. May take a few months of too n fro or they may fix it immediately. Who knows ?
Altermatively use the Upload file to change the Shipping Template name immediately after using your third party app to create them
