You do - what makes you think they are not registered ?
If its because their addresses aren’t showing, I believe there is some setting somewhere where it doesn’t show
If they aren’t registered as businesses and should be, amazon will catch up with them - so will hmrc as they have designated teams within online platforms

i cant see anywhere to hide the business adress , that would be useful

I wouldn’t buy from anyone who hid their business address - I always check before I buy - simply wouldn’t trust them. We have out customers addresses, the least we can do is provide them with the same in return, simple respect and transparency.

I’d like to hope the fact I have a top rated business, have a Vat number and an about me that shows I’ve been in business since 2009 would mean a lot more to showing I’m trustworthy than putting my address on.

I am still sole trader and my address is not shown. Only my VAT registration number is shown.

There’s no option to hide address but anyway , can you sell on here without being a company or sole trader , I was under the impression I had to be a company registered Hmrc to sell hence why I’m a limited company. I pay my taxes etc .

Some advice from Gov.uk Hope this helps.
Business sellers are required to follow all government regulations, including registering as a business on and providing contact information and a return policy.
A seller must register as a business if, for example, they sell items they have bought to resell, they make items in order to sell them, or if they buy items for their business.

What is the policy?
Business sellers can’t represent themselves as private individuals and are required to:
Register their Business
- Provide the following information in the business seller information section in their listings:
- Full contact details for the business
- Any trade organisations they belong to
- Any authorisation scheme relevant to the online business
- Clear information about price, including any shipping or delivery charges and tax
- A VAT number, if the business’s online activities are subject to VAT

If you are sole trader you address does not appear on amazon by default but not for registered company.

Its a legal requirement under Distance Selling Regulations that the business name, contact details and address are supplied before an order is placed
Admittedly, finding address often seems difficult on Amazon. My account seems to just show my town and a telephone number. But you should enter all relevant info then if Amazon are making it difficult for a buyer to find that is not really your responsibility. How Amazon are getting away with hiding it I do not know as the law is quite clear.
See https://www.gov.uk/online-and-distance-selling-for-businesses
where it states (amongst other conditions):
Before an order is placed
You must provide:
- your business name, contact details and address

I’m assuming because the order is placed with amazon and paid for via amazon then its different.
