Amazon not accepting renewed passport for verification

Amazon not accepting renewed passport for verification

I registered as Amazon seller last year with my first passport but did not listed any product as I was getting my products photographed which took some time. Last year my old passport got expired. This year I renewed my passport and trying to get the seller verification done using new passport. But amazon is not accepting new passport as it requires old passport that I used at time of registration. The problem is that seller verification form doesn't allow setting passport expiry date as any past year than 2024, and so I can't select 2023 for old passport. I have an open case with Amazon where I provided both old and new passport in attachments for them to review and allow new passport for verification. But I am not getting any response and in 5-7 days my account will get inactivated again.

Stuck with verification. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

I wanted to inquire on if your new passport includes all the "exact" same information on your old passport. Did anything change since you registered the account originally? If there has been any changes, did you update your account information to ensure everything meets our requirements and still validates you as the original owner?
