Do I have to ship boxes on a pallet or can I ship loose boxes?
I have 22 boxes, each weighing 16 kg and measuring 49x47x48 cm. Each box contains 14 units, totalling 308 units.
I'm sending via LTL.
Can i ship these without a pallet, or is a pallet necessary?
Would it be better to make the boxes weight less than 15kg so they're not labelled as 'Heavy Package'?

I'd imagine its probably cheaper on a pallet but really depends what loading facilities you have or if you can pack one?

LTL = pallets
If you want to send these boxes on pallets, select LTL.
If you want to send them just as boxes, select the other option.
If sending boxes, I would recommend using Amazon's partnered carrier program (UPS), and have boxes under 15kg as it'll be cheaper, and as you say you won't have to label as heavy.
Sending on pallets will be slightly more work, but may work out more cost efficient if you have a cheap courier. You also won't get 22 boxes that size onto 1 pallet and so you'll be paying for probably 2 or 3 pallets, therefore the cost will be a lot higher.
Sounds like boxes under 15kg would be your best bet.

The pallet is not necessary, although it would be better with a pallet as they may receive easy and fast. Make sure your pallet is stackable otherwise the cost will be not efficient and separate boxes will be your only choice. Especially when you have heavy packages always think how many times your boxes will be loaded and unloaded to reach the final destination. Unless stickers of ''heavy package'' missing, 16kg weight will not be a problem.

you only can send 10 boxes in 1 shippment !
So you make 2-3-4 shippments or you go for pallets !
