We received a "trademark infringement" defect, but we don't think the rights owner is legitimate?
The item is for a well known cookie manufactuer in Canada, in the Amazon email, the rights owner email address actually belongs to a father and son team of beer brewers in California? I did send an email to the contact that Amazon gave in their "Warning: Policy Violation" email, but now I regret that as even though there's been no response, I don't think the rights owner is legitimate.
We did acknowledge the violation in our account health and the defect was removed. However, I am concerned about my account as the wording in the Amazon email is a little scary "We consider intellectual property infringements a serious matter, and your account is under review. If we receive more complaints about your listings, we may not allow you to sell on Amazon.com." Our current Health Rating is 480, should we be concerned even though the defect has been removed? We've been selling on Amazon for over 5 years.

Hello @Seller_8Btu9fOsrLqIG,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a trademark complaint.
Can you provide more information surrounding your situation? Can you post the original notice or the concerned ASIN so I can help look further into the situation.
Whenever a violation is acknowledged, the situation will be monitored. Repeat violations of the same type will have a higher impact, or directly jeopardize your account if received again. Although your account health is above the target repeat violations can be considered critical which drops the score to zero.
If when you acknowledged the violation, it was accepted and removed from the account health page, this means it was successful. This also implies you understood the violation and will prevent it from reoccurring. Have you reviewed your listings to ensure no other violations are present? Did you fully research this scenario to make sure you understood the situation prior to acknowledgement?
