Read onlyI have some orders that are showing that they need to be dispatched on Thursday for Friday delivery, we use Royal Mail and Friday is Good Friday, how is that supposed to work?
@Winston_Amazon or Other Mods know why?
I am guessing that Amazon are making their own Delivery staff work over Easter. Therefore, they wrongly assume all couriers are working.
We have the same issue, DPD, Royal Mail and Evri all say they are not working on Good Friday. We only show DPD and RM as couriers we use, so Amazon should only apply their delivery dates.
AMAZON show in Holidays:
Good Friday - 29/03/2024
Easter Sunday - 31/03/2024
Easter Monday - 01/04/2024
As such, deliveries and collections should only be on Saturday 30/03/2024
Again guessing, as I am sure SS will not resolve, as long as you ship on time, then it will not count against you. You will need to ensure RM scan the parcels though, not just the manifest. It will show all deliveries as being late and that may impact the Buy Box as it will say this Seller takes longer to deliver, etc.
Yet again, another Amazon Bodge Up! They could not plan a ... in a Brewery.
Oh! and it is snowing in our area, so will they be collecting and delivering anyway?
Here in Scotland its a normal working day for the Royal Mail, so we still get deliveries and postal collections on Good Friday. (We have the 2nd of Jan as a Bank Holiday instead). We will be shipping orders with the Royal Mail today (Friday), so some customers in Wales/England may get their orders delivered on Saturday.
Do not get us started on Royal Mail's incompetence at the moment! Hope you are not suffering the same fate.
