Selling out of warranty date HP ink toner cartridges for printers

Hello everyone . I am relatively new to Amazon . I am curious to know if there’s anyone out there selling HP printer ink toner cartridges that are past their warranty date . example: warranty date December 2017 on the back of the box . I understand this is not an expiry date but just a warranty date . I didn’t know if anyone has had complaints or issues with selling them or complaints from customers who have purchased them complaining that they are out of date and then leaving you negative feedback .

You will probably have problems selling these on Amazon as you won’t be able to specify the date. Maybe if you sell them as “Used - Like New” you might get away with it, not sure if you can detail the date in the comments. Definitely not in the listing.

ebay is the place for such items.

I guess you would be listing as used - like new, so you can highlight the out of date warranty in seller comments?

My guess is it would be a risk to sell in new condition and most likely will result in complaints, returns and negative feedback, but bigger risk of account suspension if complaints state not as described as being out of date?

I think eBay is the best home for items such as that, whereby you have much more flexibility with the descriptions and also much better seller protection if things go south.

You can pretty much guarantee that someone will buy them, use half a cartridge for their printing then suddenly want to send it back because they’ve only just realised that they were out of warranty.
