Hello I am trying to sell first time on Amazon and wish to use Amazon FBA. I was trying to send inventory but then this message appeared.

> This product exceeds the allowed volume for Oversize storage. Click the Storage Volume monitor to view the maximum shipment volume for Oversize storage.

> Your inventory storage limit has been exceeded. Please try again when storage becomes available.

Look at your shipments page. At the bottom, it will tell you how much storage you have.
Now look at the shipment your trying to send and work out how much storage you will be using.
You simply can’t send in more than the limit you have been allocated.

Are you actually sending something that counts as being oversize? If so, you may just need to send fewer units at first.

It looks from that image like you are on the individual selling plan which means you get reduced storage as you don’t have an IPI score. On the pro selling plan you get extra storage for i think the first few months whilst you build an IPI score.

Edit 1:

Summary

What if I don’t have an IPI score or am a new FBA seller?

Most sellers with Professional selling accounts have an IPI score, but some do not, because we don’t have enough data to generate a score. This is usually the case for sellers who are new to FBA or have small quantities of FBA inventory.

After you first receive an IPI score, you will not be subject to storage limits for two full storage limit cycles.

You can view the date you received your first IPI score by clicking Show details under the IPI score colour bar. This will reveal your Historical performance index , and your First IPI score date will be visible above the graph.

Most sellers will receive their first IPI score approximately 15 weeks after their first product is received by FBA.

Edit 2:

Summary

Storage limits criteria

Individual selling accounts have a set storage limit of 10 cubic feet, and this value does not change. Storage limit increases are not available for Individual selling accounts.

@Demel So if i upgraded to pro seller, will i be able to get the storage? I have never sold before. Will they give me more storage even if i have no IPI score?

Changing selling plan should work, but do get your VAT sorted first as that may take a while.
