Duplicate Products with different branding

Hi All,

I just wondered if anybody can answer this question?
There is a seller in a category I sell in who has listings for exactly the same product, just with different brand names and pictures.
Is this sort of duplication allowed on Amazon?

Yes, assuming it is properly branded.
Though it’s still a grey area…
Far to many think that just slapping your own brand name on something, makes it’s yours. Patently ridiculous when there are so many sellers doing this, selling the exact same product, with a different name. Most don’t even bother to change the packaging to reflect the brand.
