Return rate for item with sizes
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to hear from other seller who sell clothing or an item with sizes
Despite having the dimensions listed and a picture with measurements customers don’t seem to look at this and the return rate is nearly 10%, this is by far the highest % return rate of any of our products but i wondered if it is normal for clothing ?

Guess why I wouldn’t even consider selling clothing? 
Hopefully you have margins sufficient to cover the high return rates. This is the only real way of getting around it. Pretty much everywhere these days has free returns for clothes.
I guess that a lot of the problems, no matter the sizing stated, is that it can vary between manufacturers. It’s not something that I buy a lot of, but you can guarantee, that the same size in two different shops, fits differently.
Hence high returns.

Thanks, yes the margin is good without that it would be a no brainer just to stop selling it
Just a pain as a lot of returns just go in the bin as they are returned without any packaging and require ironing /folding on a £7.90 item
