How Fast Can I Raise Prices and Maintain Buy Box?

Hi guys,

I’ve been selling on Amazon for a few months (FBA only). I sell my own products and am the only seller on the listings.

As I wanted to try get as many sales (and therefore genuine reviews) as possible, I launched my listings at fairly low prices. I now want to increase these somewhat but I lose the Buy Box when I do.

I read a lot about how increasing prices too quickly will incur a potential loss of the Buy Box.

Is there a general rule for the accepted rate of price increase (ie no more than 5% per week, 1% per day etc)?

Many thanks!

You can change your price as much as you want. Just don’t go up or down more than about 10% per change. And every couple of days. (4 to 5 days or a week later )
I suggest when you want to Edit or change your price > click on right “Edit” > then it is under “Offer tab” automatically.
Change your price there.

Well if there is a rule, then only Amazon know what it is.
The simplest answer, is to simply try and raise your price. See if you can maintain the buy box.
