A bit of news for the RM Delivery Services
So I hear a lot of people have concerns over Royal Mails Delivery times, I’ve always used 48 hour, and only the odd few go missing, but it would seem most of my 48 hour ones are arriving within 4 days of dispatch, which I think is good?

I’ve got a 1st class letter from Thursday which still hasn’t arrived (now Tues). But weirdly I had a 48hr which landed in 2 days on the other side of the country.
I’ve had a couple of delivery enquirers but what more can we tell them?

I’ve had some delays but most people are very understandable, apart from one. I had a message today along the lines of today is the last day of expected dispatch, this item is for an anniversary, where is it, I’m disgusted and expect an explanation! This is probably one of the people who are still going out and about!

i spoke to a postman and she some areas are bad, worse then xmas, I have been given 2x 1 stars as the buyer hadn’t received their goods in 4 days, something I cannot control, I find it very frustrating that amazon allow this feedback in this time, we cannot control the royal mail, these 2 customers did not even contact me, I have tried and tried to get it removed and you just go round in circles with them. luckily most are understanding but the odd few, I think are in a bubble and don’t understand the world at present.

I just changed our shipping templates to 3-5 days. No problems so far and most are arriving early.

Bank Holiday this Friday & Monday so there’s going to be a huge volume of mail going into the system Tuesday… people stuck at home… can’t go out … lots of online shopping… and no collections / deliveries on Friday and Monday
