Account Verification Email
I have received and email supposedly from Amazon saying they need to verify my account and they say I need to complete virtual identity verification over a video interview.
The account has been up and running for a few years now and I did a video interview when I first opened the account.
I have also checked my account and do not see anything that says I need to be verified again.
I contacted customer support and received this reply.
We have checked and would like to inform you that you haven't sent email by Amazon.

Rest assured this is not a scam, Amazon has sent you that notification regarding your account.
Talk about confusing?
On one hand they are saying they did not send it then in the same answer they say they did.
Who is responsible for interviewing these people to become customer services representatives because this is just crazy.
Has anyone else received an email like this and is it real or fake?

Hello @Seller_NaH6xIZIx4n6z,
I am Spencer with Amazon.
The email was authentic. If you could please check your performance notifications, there should be instructions for you how to schedule this interview.
Let me know how it goes.
