Click & drop tracking query

Hi, recently my On-Time Delivery Rate dropped to 77.27% due to Evri messing up deliveries. I decided to use Royal Mail 48 tracked using Royal Mail click and drop service.

I have Amazon and Royal Mail click & drop all synced and it automatically marks the order as shipped on Amazon once I've created a label and Royal Mail have scanned the parcel. The problem is, on the Amazon order page, the service says 'Std UK Dom_2' where it should say 'Royal Mail Tracked 48'. I have also noticed the delivery doesn't show the tracking updates on Amazon and does not change the status from 'shipped' to 'delivered' once the parcel has been delivered.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or if this will effect the On-Time Delivery Rate as I don't think amazon will get a delivered notification as it not updating to delivered.

Thanks

You’re not doing anything wrong. It’s all correct although not ideal.

I don't think it's right, I think the tracking should update on the amazon page like it does with other postage services that are tracked. I then think the 'shipped' status should update to 'delivered' once delivered. On the Royal Mail integration you even tick a box to comfirm delivery with Amazon.

I might try to manually add the tracking instead and see if that tracks correctly and comfirms delivery, at least then I'll know there is an isue. The main problem is On-Time Delivery Rate drops as there is no confirmation of delivery.

I appreciate that you may think that but unfortunately, this is Amazon. What I said is correct.

This has no effect on your OTDR.

HI there @Seller_dqG6Fu7z6J10Y,

Are you buying your shipping from Buy Shipping? If you are concerned with your shipment On Time Delivery Rate and specific orders I'm happy to look into the issue however in order to do so I will need your most recent Case ID where you have escalated issues with the delivery rate for an order so we can review. Thank you for your understanding.
