"This product has other listing limitations"
Hi,
I am trying to add a product but the product says not available because "This product has other listing limitations".
We have no current policy violations. We know for a fact that the product does not have import/regional regulations. How do we apply to sell this product? What are the limitations? Will reaching out to the brand owner help?

I had 5 ASINs listed in my seller account for around a year now, and have tons of stock for these ASINs but have yet to sell a single unit.
Today, I noticed the listings were inactive, with Reason: Product requires approval to sell.
There's absolutely nothing I can do, and there's absolutely nothing you can do. Perhaps it's a just a Q4 temporary thing.
See the amazon page on it: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/201629830

Hi @Seller_oYbOAhKsTYEHe,
Thanks for posting to the Forums. Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. As the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction.
For this reason, you may be required to gain approval to sell certain products. You can see if there's an option to apply to sell through Seller Central, going to Catalog>Add a Product. Next, find the ASIN you would like to sell and then apply to sell if there is an option.
You will find more details about this using the resources below:
