Stranded Inventory Uncommingled MSKU

We keep getting inventory becoming stranded without any reason listed, but that has its SKU set as &#39;uncommingled MSKU&#39; with some number after it.Does anyone know why this inventory is becoming stranded? We have no option to tie it back to any particular ASIN, all we can do is remove it.
