Using a 3rd party trademark for Brand Registry

Hello everyone

One of our suppliers have a UK registered trademark. They don’t have an Amazon seller or a Brand Registry account. They are happy to give us exclusive rights for Amazon. My question is can we enrol on Brand Registry a trademark that is not ours and start product listing if we have permission from the trademark owner?

Thanks for any helpful advice.

The correct procedure as stated in the eligibility section of Brand registry, is for the Brand owner to create an Amazon seller account and then register their Brand in Amazon’s Brand registry.
They then add you as their agent, granting you user permission to the Brand registry tools.
In the past agents have bypassed this by getting the verification code needed to open an Amazon Brand registry account, which is always sent to the Brand /RO as a security measure to prevent anyone else opening it in their name.
