EVRI BODY'S nightmare please
Hi All
Using Amazon buy shipping & selecting EVRI I have had two out three that have been a nightmare.
I have a couple of questions please. Firstly I bought a Next Day medium parcel for EVRI through Amazon Buy Shipping today, when I took it to the parcel drop off they scanned it & it said “this parcel is not available for drop off at this parcel drop off shop” seems to defeat the object to me! & the sign outside says EVRI Parcels made easy…
The label says EVRI MARKETPLACE NDAY, VAN 86 DROP 51 C-ROUND
What on earth am I meant to do with it? I have been to two EVRI parcel drop off shops & get the same message when they scan it. The service cost £3 I can’t imagine a van is going to come to my house to pick it up, unless someone knows differently.
I have no local EVRI larger hub / depot so I am out of ideas.
The other thing is that EVRI only collect once a day from each parcel shop, so even if they had of taken in the parcel who is to say that the collection might of already been made in the shop for that day & so then how am I getting the “next day service”?
“This call connection service is charged at £3.60 per call plus £3.60 per minute plus your phone company’s access charge.”
and live help is a bot!
arrrghh
If anyone can advise what I meant to do, to phone EVRI it’s

Several reports unfortunately that these require collection
You may need to delete the label and buy postage elsewhere
If you have lots of parcels each day, fill in the collection form on the announcement

Exactly the same problem I am having - Amazon’s response is that they will refund the shipping however that means our performance will be affected as the parcel is for Guernsey - went to 2 shops - same as you and the label does not scan - contacted Evri and their response is I need to drop off the parcel - absolutely useless.

We have similar issue - we have Evri account but they havent sorted out a collection with us. Instead on of the Evri agents picks up as late as possible each day… but its a dogs dinner. Ive repeatedly asked but its fallen on deaf ears.

For Next Day, you MUST have collections booked in with Evri. They are not fir drop-off.
Standard has also to be the Standard - Drop Off option and ok for areas not covered by DPD, etc. So, if Evri Standard Drop Off shown, then you may use that service.
You need to complete the Evri collection service await their email with collection start date etc, then yu may use. Minimum 20 Standard or 5 Next Day Prime per day (Mon-Fri) They also have a Saturday option.
Do not use Evri Next Day or Standard (except Standard Drop Off) until sorted.
InPost Lockers may take the parcels meanwhile?

I am not sure I can help here but for info… I have a SFP account and use the buy shipping option. My Evri account has always been drop off. I have used the Evri service for around 2 years and I dont remember ever having an option of pick up. In truth I would not get to the 20 parcels a day with Evri any way. In terms of back up…if something goes wrong with an Evri parcel your on your own. They are without doubt the least helpful carrier i have every worked with. In 2 years I have NEVER been able to speak to a human and any replys take at least 48 hours.

I had the same problem too. and was stuck for a few days. the way I got round it was to specifically book an Evri collection parcel. When the courier came to collect, I showed him the other parcels that wont scan at drop off point, and he was able to scan and collect them.
Learning from that. I only select EVRI Standard drop off when buying shipping. I have also been using more RM than EVRi because of this issue.
Hopefully you are able to find a quick resolution. You might be better off using RM for shipping to crown dependencies and Islands, I have found from experience that parcels get there faster with RM than when I used Evri

Its the next day option with Evri - not all parcel shops have that option to be able to drop off - I presume as collections are to late for Evri to do the next day(1-2 days).
If you buy direct from Evri the next day states “For the best chance of Next Day delivery, drop off your parcel by 12 noon.” This will be so they know it needs collected and I presume covers the earliest collections.

We used EVRI until Dec of last year, 22% of parcels were either lost or damaged beyond repair, no point of insurance as over 50 claims and 2 were paid out. We ship 50 parcels a day and since using RM who pick up from us 2 have gone missing, when we have a merchant fulfilled return through EVRI if it turns up its we have to bin as its mangled beyond belief.

I had this EXACT problem on Saturday and it nearly killed me not knowing what to do!
This is wha we did eventually, we took it to our local Evri drop off and managed to convince the shop worker to wait until Evri courier collects, and ask them to scan it in.
It won’t scan at the shop, they won’t give you a receipt, but if you get a decent fellow human to help you out, you’ll be fine.
When the courier guy showed up, he did scan it in, and the parcel arrived next day.
Then I pulled ALL my prime listings until I can organised myself with RM with an account.

Had the same issue using Evri via Amazon buy shipping recently when trying to move to it from RM, I attempted standard and drop off options scanned at lockers and shops neither worked, however other online platforms seem to have no issue using Evri to delivery and can go to the lockers with ease.
Had my account with Evri linked, didnt change anything. Really want to get off RM and use Evri due to how much RM have lost, delivered late amongst other issues.
