What is the difference between Manufacturer & Amazon Barcodes?

Hi, I am having a problem while deciding whether to choose Manufacturer barcodes or Amazon Barcodes while changing my listing to FBA (from FBM). Can someone please guide me what do they mean, what’s the difference between them and which one is better to choose? Thank you :slight_smile:

Manufacturer barcodes have a meaning outside of Amazon, FNSKU labels only have a meaning within Amazon. FNSKU labels help Amazon identify your product as being yours.

Where you are selling the same product as another seller, so the same manufacturer barcode, i’d say most sellers would prefer to put an FNSKU label on the item so that it doesn’t get co-mingled with the same items from other sellers.
