Can I have seperate seller accounts for amazon handmade and another for selling FBA items?
I’m hoping someone may be able to clarify for me as totally new to selling and want to make sure I’m doing things right!
I want to set up multiple seller accounts and I believe I have two legitimate different businesses - but not sure as they technically come under the same category (toys)
My main business is a handmade child’s toy item that I’ve applied to sell on amazon handmade with my seller central account, however I also have a number of other toys I wish to sell through FBA but on a different account if its possible so that the two businesses are kept seperate - as they are very different in my opinion (as one is making a product for customers through handmade).
Can anyone enlighten me if I have to get permission from amazon to do this or if I can just set up a second account?
Thanks

In order to have 2 seller accounts they both MUST -
Have separate login details
Have separate Bank Accounts and
Sell different products in different categories
Therefore you couldn’t sell toys on both accounts

As mentioned the only way this works if there are two completely separate businesses involved.
Separate Emails
Separate Bank Account
Different products
(ie you run a makeup company under puppy lane and a toy company under kitten lane, both of which are entirely separate from each other)
Is there a reason why you feel you can’t do this on the same account?

You need the luck of the Irish to keep one account going, some chance with 2.

Is it really two separate businesses is the first question you should address. Do you have two separate business entities one for the FBA and one for the handmade items?
If it is just one business entity but you have both FBA and handmade items then one account should work for you. Even though the items are totally different.
If you have two business entities both a limited company it complicates it a lot as Amazon normally say the two companies have to trade in different categories. There are also considerations for VAT as well if you have two separate limited companies.
