Amazon FBA Selling PHANTOM UNITS - HELP

The platform is starting to cost me big and affect all inventory planning and execution.

I sent roughly 162 items to the fulfilment centre, after the 10-14 days period my stock became available on Prime as you should.

I was expecting the items to be sold within the week, which it did, so thought all was normal, we should of sold out. For some odd reason items were still selling, so I thought nothing of it. We reached 90+ open orders which had not been expedited or despatched since the 20th August.

Amazon said it was because of 'awaiting payment verification' from customer orders. I should wait 3 weeks or they cancelled automatically.

Did a bit of digging and found for that specific Shipment with 162 items sent, which gets closed on the 13th Oct, had either been duplicated and the Units Amazon received had been doubled. Checking FBA inventory and all inventory told the same story. They are selling what they don't have. How can you dispatch an item when you don't have it? Beats me but Amazon would tell you they waiting for customers payments. Meanwhile unaffected ASINS are performing fine.

These Phantom or made up units are selling under my shop. 5 ASINS have been affected. How can you sell what you don't have.

Nothing has been dispatched from those 5 ASINS since the 21st but I receive sales orders daily.

Amazon are pretending that the issue is not them, fix my 5 ASINS so I can carry on.

Now they are using my restock to try and cover their tracks, that restock is not available, if they don't cancel those orders customers will receive their order late and I will have to deal with the backlash i.e returns.

They have not got back to me since the 25th, I contact Seller Support daily, and absolutely no help, just that a specialised team that has no outbound presence will get back to me. My shop might as well be in the bin. Real sales have gone down 300%.

Hi @Seller_lFGAZaxX0WMn3,

Thank you for reaching out about this! I apologize for the frustration this experience has caused.

Has there been any updates to these orders and your inventory since posting? If this issue is ongoing, can you please send me your Seller Support case IDs for this? I'd be happy to take a further look into those correspondences to see how I can best help here.

Thanks again,

Jameson
