Selling in Grocery Category Eligibility on Amazon Saudi Arabia

I am already selling food in regions such as the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK, and I am looking to expand into the Grocery category on Amazon Saudi Arabia. However, I understand that approval is required for food sales in Saudi Arabia.

I would like to understand the criteria that need to be met in order to be eligible to sell in the Grocery category. I have opened a case to gather detailed information, but I have only received a response indicating that I am not eligible, without further clarification.

Could you please provide detailed information on the prerequisites for selling food in Saudi Arabia? Is it necessary to establish a local company, or are there other requirements? Are there any sellers currently selling in the Grocery category on Amazon Saudi Arabia who could share their experience?

Hello @Seller_X2c9zldQk0mHx,

Thank you for your interest in expanding to sell groceries on Amazon Saudi Arabia. It is important to note that each seller bears full responsibility for adhering to the rules and regulations of the country in which they intend to sell.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) typically needs to approve food products before they can be sold.

You can take a look at Grocery help page as well.

Adam
