Has anyone else had Amazon steal and sell your FBA stock?
I am so upset and I’ve been trying to resolve this issue for months but I’m getting nowhere. I’ve opened countless cases about it, filled in report a violation forms… everything… and nothing is changing.
I send in a product to FBA to sell on Prime for £9.99. It’s my own branded product that I manufacture, pack, send in and own. Several times- today included- my sales have stopped and another listing has appeared for £7.99 Prime, sold by Amazon.co.uk.
I bought one of these products to see what I was sent and I was sent my own product. I got an order number for it, searched for it, haven’t been paid for it and have been told that that order number “does not relate to my selling account.”
I hoped at first it was a genuine mistake but I it keeps happening on and off and I now think that they’ve sold over 300 units of my product and kept the money. To reiterate- I am not being paid for these sales, they are selling my stock as if they own it.
I’ve done everything I can think of to stop it happening- even emailing the FBA guy who called and invited me to sell on Prime. Noone is doing anything, taking accountability or admitting this is happening, Meanwhile I’m stressed out, losing money hand over fist and have no idea what to do.
Has this happened to anyone else please? Does anyone have any ideas what I can do about it?
Thank you x

Usually when this happens, it’s either when stock has been sent into FBA and damaged/lost etc which has been reimbursed to you.
Or alternatively, you have the global shipping program active and they are buying from yourself, to sell to someone else.
They obviously cannot get the stock from anywhere but you, so you must have supplied them in some way.
So first, look at your shipments. Is there missing stock? Has been damaged stock and so on.
Otherwise go through your sales reports and look for Amazon purchases.

Thanks Neil for your advice.
I look at the shipment updates everyday and I’ve found lots of missing stock reports here and there in my shipments- 50 packets on one, 80 on another, 6 on another etc etc. They can’t be missing though as they’re all sent in one parcel every time so, for example, I’m sending them 100 in a box and they’re saying they received 40 but have 60 missing- which is physically impossible.
When I put in a reconcile enquiry into the missing items, which I do every time, they say every time that the stock has just been found and that’s the end of it.
There’s no possibility of damaged stock, it’s not that kind of product.
They’re not buying them from me as I would be able to find a money trail and there’s none- no orders from Amazon, my order number isn’t associated to my account etc.
So I’m at a total loss. It genuinely feels like they’re just stealing my stock as I am 100% not being paid for the sales they’re taking.

This is a duplicate and has already been discussed. Please continue from the original thread to stop forum members repeating themselves. Thank you.

Think you need to consider legal action.

I do agree, she needs answers, and by posting multiple forums it is not wasting anyone’s time unless they have replied to both forums.
Holly, they aren’t going to help you. I’d also go with legal action especially if this is loosing you hundreds of pounds.
Best of luck x
