Weird image problem

Hi all,

Bit of a random one and appreciate I might be completely in the wrong here but I’m getting nowhere with support so thought I’d give here a shot. Thanks in advance for any help!

Basically, one of my best selling listings suddenly had all of its images removed and replaced with a single image that does not represent the actual product I sell (it’s FBA so it also doesn’t match the stock in Amazons warehouse) The rest of the listing remained the same and I’m the only seller.

I had hoped that the positive feedback and good track record associated with the listing would be enough for Amazon to accept that the images that had been live since the listing was created were accurate and that this new random image shouldn’t be on the listing.

Amazon have asked for proof that the UPN/EAN attached to the listing is associated with my product images. 1. All of my stock is with Amazon so I can’t photograph it and 2. My product comes relatively plainly packaged and I attach amazon Barcodes for FBA, the UPC/EAN isn’t on the product.

I do own the UPC/EAN and have sent amazon the certificate of ownership and a copy of my receipt. However, this is not enough and they refuse to budge (sending me the same response repeatably)

I’m not sure if I should just recall all my stock and abandon the listing or whether there’s something else I could do? I’m also not sure how this has even happened or if perhaps I’m doing something wrong? (I initially expected this to be a very easy fix as it’s so clearly my listing and product)

Not that random I’m afraid. You often see similar posts on here - here is a recent one.

If you do a google search for the rogue image on your listing you will ptobably find it attached to a number of different products. (one would hope that such evidence would help your case).
