FBA - Can items that come in 2 separate boxes be fulfilled?
Hi Guys,
One of the products that we sell is a weight set, featuring a bar and some plates/discs.
Given the nature of the product and varying dimensions of the bar and the plates, our factory packs this in 2 separate boxes. We have looked at getting them to pack it in 1, but this isn’t feasible.
We are very keen to introduce this product to FBA, but don’t know whether Amazon will;
- Fulfill an item that comes in 2 separate boxes
- How to go about labeling them for the FC’s if the answer to 1 is yes
One of our competitors, selling an almost identical product which is made in the same factory as ours and packaged identically, sells directly to Amazon, who offer the item Prime.
Until now, I presumed that Amazon were using Seller Fulfilled Prime for this, but can see that warehouse deals have one available which proves they are fulfilling this item - so it can be done!
Any advice would be appreciated!

FBA will not pick two items & pack as one,as said tape/strap/whatever the boxes together so they cannot come apart.

2 suggestions:
- Geta bigger outer box and pack 2 boxes into it. Label that New box.
- Get a set from comortitor and See hoiw they were packed

As per mentionned above, all individual SKU items must be contained within a single package.

Thanks for all the help guys, We have tried a larger packaging outer box but given the vastly different sizes of each of the 2 components, this didn’t really work unfortunately.
Will have to look into a way of changing the design slightly so the larger component may be split for packaging.
