How long have you waited to be refunded VAT on fees?
Questions in the title really, i have been waiting 3 months now with Amazon not updating me at all. “it will take some time” was the last thing i heard. So i take it that they are holding on to my money for as long as they can so they can cream the profit?

Case submitted on May 4th, refund paid into my Amazon account on July 10th.
So, just over 2 months.

Can you tell me what VAT refund are you referring to?
Just so I can check if there is an option to claim it back for us.
Thanks

I am VAT registered but entered all my VAT registration documents before selling on Amazon. I presume I haven’t been charged VAT fee’s, how does 1 check ?

I wait over a year for mine. I just kept being ignored and getting copy & paste answers.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Amazon deliberately drag their feet over any issue like this, as you said, so they can cream the profit. But they also know that many sellers will just give up… Win… win for them.
However, persistance does pay off. Just keep on at them and hopefully someone will eventually pick the ball up.

Case started in March, ended up getting the refund at the end of July

Case opened on 3rd May, still no refund other than being fobbed off with as other people have had. I did open cases prior to that which were closed as at those points the VAT invoices for those periods hadn’t been issued, so it is technically longer.

Well, refund has come through and it’s about 400 quid short according to my calculation. The long process of trying to get a breakdown of their calculation starts.

Around 5-6 months for me. I emailed constantly and thought i was getting nowhere with it in all honesty. Didn’t believe i was ever going to get it and then last week it was sorted and paid into my amazon account the same day. £22,000 so defiantly keep going with it.
