Amazon changed the brand name on one of our listings
One of our listings has just had the brand name changed.
We created the listings several years ago, our company is named as the manufacturer and we have GS1 registration for the barcode used to create the listing. The brand name is registered with Amazon brand registry. We have the brand name register with the UK Intellectual Property Office.
Just a had a nonsense reply from seller support about it. Basically saying your can't change the brand name. I sent them the GS1 certificate but it didn't help.
Anyone got any advice?
Thanks

It is probably not Amazon who changed it but another seller. This can be a mistake or it can be an attempt to hijack your listing.
As you are brand registered I would contact Brand Registry Support rather than standard SS support to resolve this. They are more likely to help you.
Unfortunately this kind of behaviour happens a lot. Often Amazon won't easily change it and it can be a struggle to resolve.

This happened to us recently. SS were not helpful and just kept telling me I could not change the brand name.
After emailing the MD saying that this amounted to fraud, it changed back to the original listing after a couple of days.
I would contact him and attach all your evidence of Brand ownership etc.
Good luck!

Hi,
We have had the same happen recently B00DL9PNCC, brand name changed to 'AmazonUk/ADLB5' and selling from Amazon vendor. Listing still showing Scosche Branded listing but somehow has been changed and now they control the listing from us. Crazy they can do this.

not sure if it'll work or not, but try file upload with full update.
i really feel amazon needs to do something with this brand issue, specially in case like yours where in you are brand and registered on amazon with GS1 barcode, I dont understand why amazon cannot assign you as the owner and on what merit they accepted contribution from other seller.
the way amazon assign the ownership of any listing is another buy box kind of mistery and unfortunately many time its not assigned to rightful owner of the listing and when contact seller support you end up receiving some replies in english but feels gibberish :).
