My funds are being held for no reason
I received a email from amazon selling account today
they are with holding my funds for no reason given and says i dont have to do anything
my account is excellent
No a -z claims
No charge backs
No late shipment
No returns
why would this happen
first time after 6 years of selling

I have had this several time and ive been selling for 12 years. Recently there was money in my acount but when i tried to disburse it was showing £0. After trying for months I finally sent a message to SS and they said they needed more info from me but then after months of holding it it was suddenly disbursed without me requesting it. I have asked them why it was disbursing now and I go back into the very comon and failiar loop of SS sending me the same email over and over asking for more details and not answering my question. Nothing surprises me about this company anymore they have no morals and certainly couldnt care less about the small business person.

I don’t want to give you this bad news however start being ready. I have had the same issue and I could get my money back after 174 days. I have sent over 45 emails to seller support. They usually reply with an automatic answer. I hope you are luckier than me.

Sending multiple emails will definitely NOT help your cause - there have been sellers receive messages saying that they will not receive any further communication if they keep emailing.
The fact that the original email says that you do not have to do anything really does indicate that it is probably a velocity review, because you have had a sudden increase in sales, and they want to check and see that you are fulfilling orders and meeting metrics/targets etc.
