This is simply a forum of other sellers, not Amazon, so no-one her can do anything to help, as we do not have access to your seller account. If you had sent items to UK for FBA, then it is likely that you will already owe some VAT - have to say that 'your agent' was the problem - you have to apply for VAT registration via UK HMRC.

Try opening a case with Seller Support - cannot guarantee you will get a sensible reply, but that needs to be your first step.

Hello @Seller_2n9Dh08Hr29GM

This is Abella from Amazon to help you. From the above post I understand that you are concerned about the Account reactivation.

I appreciate you sharing information about the status of your current account. My aim is to offer additional advice on the subsequent actions to take.

VAT stands for Value Added Tax. It is a tax that VAT-registered traders in the EU add to the price of the goods they sell, and pass on to the national tax authorities when they file their tax returns. If you sell goods in any EU country, it is likely you may be required to register for VAT in each country you sell in and it is your responsibility to ensure you are VAT-compliant.

As you did sell a couple of units then it is likely that you DO owe some VAT, and should have been VAT registered as you are a non-UK resident, even though the rest was destroyed.

Thank you @Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid, really appreciate your inputs. As correctly addressed you need to register for UK VAT and later enter the valid UK VAT number that belongs to your business to your Seller Central VAT settings so that the team can work towards reactivation of the account.
