Dear Amazon Support,

I am writing to express my concern regarding VAT deductions (FBA and referral fees) applied to my account, I am uk base seller I am not VAT-registered, and I was unaware of the rules when these fees were deducted.

Could you please review my account and check data before from 1st August 2024(before new rules)? I kindly request a refund for charges before from the new rules were applied(1st Aug 2024)

I have been looking around Seller Central to find the VAT report that shows VAT on Amazon fees (charged per transaction, for the changes from 01 Aug).

Can anyone please point out where this is?

The usual VAT report doesn't have it as I am seeing multiple transactions from Aug 1st week which do not have VAT on fees, but only on shipping.

I have just submitted my VAT for Q3, However my accountant has just calculated my VAT to be over £3K

I have queried this and this was my accountants response:

There are a couple of spreadsheets on your memory stick named VAT Reclaim Aug 24 and VAT Reclaim Sep 24. This is actually VAT on sales and yes, we have posted it and included it in to the VAT Return.

The VAT treatment effective from 1 August 2024 refers to the VAT on Amazon fees. We have always reclaimed the VAT on the Amazon fees. We did the same this quarter.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.

This does not seem right to me...!
