Invalid Charge Method Tide Bank

I was using tide for payouts for nearly a year until around 4-5 months ago it stopped working and I’ve been on their case for months now to get it fixed and still no luck. Does ANYBODY have any resolutions at all. I’m begging you.

I should add I have cancelled my old card received a new one and updated all the card info correctly. I have done this for 3 different Tide cards now.

Hello @Seller_jimTnsmNViM2w,

I completely understand how frustrating this must be — dealing with payout issues for months is incredibly stressful, especially when you've already tried multiple cards.

Here are some steps that may help resolve this:

1. Verify Your Deposit Method Is Properly Assigned

Head to Seller Central > Settings > Account Info > Bank Account Information and confirm your deposit method is correctly assigned to the right marketplace. Sometimes after updating card details, the deposit method itself needs to be re-set.

🔗 Update your bank account information

2. Important: The 3-Day Security Hold

Whenever you add or change your bank account information, a three-day security hold goes into effect. Fund transfers cannot be initiated until the hold expires. I'd recommend not updating your bank account within three days of your next scheduled disbursement to avoid delays.

3. Consider Whether This Is a PSP (Payment Service Provider) Issue

Tide is a digital banking provider. Some sellers have encountered issues where their bank information cannot be accepted because it's issued by a Payment Service Provider that isn't part of the Payment Service Provider Programme. If you're seeing a message along those lines, you may need to use a traditional bank account or a participating PSP.

4. Try Adding a Different Bank Account Entirely

Since you've tried three Tide cards without success, it may be worth adding a traditional high-street bank account (e.g., Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest) as your deposit method — even temporarily — to get your payouts flowing again.

5. Contact Seller Support Directly

If none of the above resolves it, I'd recommend opening a case. When you do, specifically mention the deposit method issue and that you've already replaced the card multiple times. This helps the support team route your case to the right team. If your case resolves and you have any follow up questions, please share the case ID with me here, and I'll review to see what options exist for escalation.

I hope one of these paths gets things moving for you. Keep us posted on how it goes! 🤞

Regards,

- Manny
