So our listing has been totally annihilated by Amazon overnight
I woke up yesterday to find our top selling, highly rated, highly ranked ASIN receiving no impressions on ads and unfindable in any searches I do on Amazon.
Our game was ranked in top 100 on party games and activities but all of a sudden I see all ranks have been removed.
I’ve contacted support and they tell me my adverts are fine and delivering (they aren’t) and is response to the rankings being removed, they simply say:
"I would like to inform you that product is not eligible for a sales rank at this time.
Specific eligibility criteria cannot be shared."
I’m sorry but what sort of reply is this?
So this is what I know:
1.Adverts getting 0 impressions from 100000+ pm
2.Listing getting 0 page views down from 1000+ pm
3.Back end of listing has changed. Some fields in “edit” have been removed.
4.Category was changed without me doing so
5.ASIN seems to be searched suppressed without reason but no indication anywhere telling me it’s actually suppressed.
Any ideas?
Here’s the ASIN: B08L23MVRC
P.s we own the brand and always have buy box.
Thanks

It looks like the change of category has trigged all of this. What category you were previously and which one is the new one?
Did you try to update your Browse Node in the backend? You might want to follow-up with SS to put the category back in.
Category change means your product is new for the new category (it changed to) and probably not as relevant as with the prior category you’ve sold in. This resulted in losing your indexing of keywords and essentially a complete reset of your listing.

It’s not got an adult marker on has it to make it suppressed? Just a thought if the bots have picked adult from the title

Node change seems appropriate but being new and more competitive Card Games category, your listing will take some time to regain its previous ranking but having BSR of 1000 in Party Supplies will be treated differently than BSR of 1000 in Card Games as it seems to be more competitive with well known brands in that category such as Asmodee, Mattel etc.
You could try setting up new Auto campaigns and see which keywords/ASINs you are getting impressions from and then build your future campaigns from there.

I’m sure you’ve tried it but have you looked on Voice of the Customer?

How did the node change? Did you change category, or did Amazon update the nodes/switched your product to new category?
In the past I’ve had search suppressed without any notification or indication as to why and SS has no clue either. Eventually, within 24 or 48h you then receive an email explaining why.

irrespective of what Amazon say, I stongly suspect that the word adult has been picked up by the BOTS following Amazon’s recent announcement about adult products.
If you get it back listed in the original category, it may well get removed again.
Cant offer any help but good luck getting it sorted

It doesn’t show under the ASIN or the name on the Amazon website.
Using some software to interrogate Amazon, it comes up with two sellers offering it at £12.99. Using the link to the Amazon page, there’s just one seller - you. Who the other is, and where in the miles of code they’re lurking, is anyone’s guess.
