Account deactivated
We have recently (Jan 22) changed the name of our business and this caused Amazon to deactivate our account. We have since got an updated letter from our bank (per Amazon’s request) and after 2 weeks of Amazon having this letter we have been notified that we are unable to open a seller account on Amazon. We have had our account for several years and it is vital to our brand registered business that this remains. We only sell a few items but our entire product range is on Amazon for 3rd parties to sell as they wish. We are brand registered as this stops 3rd parties listing our work as their own and as it is a quite technical product we also ensure information provided on the listings is accurate. Does anyone have a suggestion as all we are able to do is go through the help section but our cases are often ignored and transferred to another department with no response at all.

Is this as a ltd company or sole trader ?
What change of business name documents did you send other than the bank statement ? And how / where on your account did you make these changes ?

1 different limited companies with different numbers or the same company with a different name?
Just wondering if its actually the beneficial owner / primary contact they’re trying to verify here with it saying residential

You need the certificate of name change from companies house which would be the official document that Amazon would recognize in this case. I assume that you have submitted a " Change a company name (NM01)" to companies house and that it has been approved?

I am not a limited company and I wish to sell dog products on an extremely small scale. So I am not sure what this whole conversation is about, If you wish me to change my company name I can do this but to deactivate an account that took me hours and days and lots of youtube videos I was extremely proud of myself for setting the account up. All financial information is my bank account (certainly not Barclays) and debit card. I believe in selling products made in the UK and that in itself is expensive, so there is no way I am going to be a millionaire through this. Please reactivate my account I have been extremely excited about it after nearly 2 years of shielding it gives me a real lift. I love dogs and I certainly have not gone out of m way to upset anyone.

Apologies I thought this involved my Amazon seller account therefore to start my own thread sort of defeats the object??? I will contact Amazon and speak to them about this as I am totally baffled and certainly would not want to cause problems for any other Amazon seller.
