GTIN exemption but still requiring product ID
Hello,
I am attempting to sell a product that has been successfully GTIN exempt from amazon.
When attempting to list, I am still required to provide a product ID as my listing will not save without one.
How do I get around this issue? It seems as though I am not the only person to have this problem but there is no clear answer to overcome the issue.
Before you ask, all categories are matching as to what is exempt.
Best wishes,
Stephen.

Hi, if the item is not already listed on amazon and is a generic unbranded item you can list it using brand name as Generic if that does not work try N/A I cant recall which one it is - If it is your own brand and you dont have EAN you will need to register in the brand registry first so your brand name appears.
The only other way you will run into an issue is if the category is restricted - this is going to depend on the item.

I have exactly this problem; GTIN exemption, Reigtered Trademark, included in Brand Registry. Product ID required at every attempt and can’t save my draft. My browser crashed a couple days ago and I lost all the information I put into my listing.
So far I’ve sent and received about 20 messages. The latest is to clear my broswer cache and list again. I’ve just now done that with the same problem. The guy at Amazon says he can list with no problem. Maybe he can, but I can’t and that is the problem.
