Mask Selling Certifications
Hi,
We are looking to import and sell medical masks as well as hand made masks on Amazon. I just could not find if we need to present and certifications for those items like ISO or CE? I am pretty sure for hand made one, I do not even need approval but what about medical ones?

Hi you need to apply in advance to be able to sell the items, once listed likely within the first couple of days your listing will be suppressed and at this point they will ask you to confirm authenticity etc.
You need approval for all covid supplies hand made or other wise yes.

I wouldn’t bother with masks at the moment, it is a very difficult classification to get into due to the current situation.

Hi the medical ones your likely to have to provide but they won’t ask for invoices or certificates until after listed. The certificate will need to be in one of the languages they accept such as English, German they won’t accept Chinese if you getting them from thier.
You also need to apply to sell covid supplies for both hand made and medical.

one last thing, I am looking for FBA option, I should not send to Amazon warehouse till they ask and approve for authenticity right?

If medical, Amazon will want to see that they comply with all relevant health and safety directives and testing standards needed for importation and to sell on EU marketplaces ie a certificate of conformity / CE marking depending on medical use and classification.

hello, not to discourage you, we asked for permission to sell PPE products 14/07 we offered all invoices and product pictures as requested. On the 22/07 we received a message saying that we will have an answer within 2-3 business days. We are still waiting to get a response.
