creating a brand

Hello Sellers,

I recently created a new listing, it's available in all big super markets in England (its not manufactured in China).

My question is how can I make it my own brand?

Kind regards

Okay so you can create a listing for it and assign it a brand that you own.

However if the brand owner complains Amazon will take the listing down. One of Amazon many bots could take the listing down for Intellectual Property issues. So it is not really worth the risk to your account.

You could just list it with the correct brand which is the correct way to sell this item.

Hello @Seller_0jAjrRj8nSVwY,

You cannot assign your own brand name to a product manufactured and owned by another company. Amazon requires that listings reflect the actual brand owner, and to enrol in Brand Registry you must own the trademark, with genuine product images showing your brand permanently affixed to the product or packaging. Listing someone else's product under your brand is an IP violation that can result in listing removal and account deactivation. If you'd like to sell this product, list it under the correct brand name. If you want to build your own brand, you'll need to develop your own product, register a trademark with the UK IPO, and then enrol in Brand Registry.
