How is this order same day dispatch??
So I had an order come in this morning and I’m gobsmacked that its saying I must already dispatch it today, same day!
I do NOT use Prime or any other express delivery option, my shipping settings (like many others) have recently changed from 1-2 days handling to 1 day dispatch so how on earth has this order suddenly become a same day dispatch!? I also don’t use any of the automated shipping settings.
For any mod investigating, the order number is 204-0331641-3869916
Could somebody please urgently offer an explanation for this? One day dispatch I can live with but not same day. Thanks

Go to the ASIN, what does it show?
If it is blank, or 0 - then probably the same day dispatch.
You need to alter each ASIN to 1 day, 2 day, etc.
The ones that said 2 days, seem to have altered to 1 day.
If you allow automated, then any that are blank, Amazon average how long you take and may default to same day dispatch.
You can also alter the cut-off times for same day dispatch to say 11am, allowing you longer if orders placed after that time.
I am sure Amazon want same day dispatch, for everything, even same day deliveries where possible now being advertised on TV for Prime.

Amazon have now automatically changed 2 day handling time to 1 day.

A little while back Amazon changed the time of the morning that orders still class as being from the previous day.
It used to be orders placed before 1 or 2am still counted as being placed yesterday, and that time has been pushed forward. It seems to be 7am right now. I'm guessing that doesn't follow the clock changes, so will likely be 6am when the clocks go back.

Hi there @Seller_vPTlUYc5NALmW,
As mentioned by other sellers, default handling time has been updated to one day but you can still update your handling time for future orders using the SKU Specific Handling time as mentioned on the Modify handling time help page. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are using Veeqo to managed your stock inventory this now also effects your set handling time at sku level. I've spend over a week trying understand why my handling time was fliping back to 1 day each morning, even though it was set at SKU level - 2 days.
I've stopped using veeqo for my stock levels until I understand where this is controlled in veeqo. A nightmare to say the least and has also impacted my OTR as a result of how long this has taken Amazon to figure it out.
