Selling Supplements on Amazon - Do I need to be ungated?
Hello all,
I am trying to sell Supplements on Amazon under the category Health & Fitness >> Diet & Sports Nutrition >> Sports Nutrition >> Testosterone Booster. However, I am a bit confused about the ungating process.
When I tried to create my listing, I noticed there was no lock symbol and I was able to create the listing without having to submit any documentation. I have searched the Seller Central platform, but I cannot find where I can get ungated.
Can someone please clarify if I need to be ungated in order to sell Supplements on Amazon and if so, how can I go about getting ungated?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You mentioned that you were searching for some Seller Central information on gating. I found a few that may be helpful to review, especially regarding supplements containing testosterone boosters.
- Request approval to sell in certain product categories - Sellers are required to obtain approval from Amazon before listing in certain product categories. To request approval to sell in a new product category, search for your product using Add a Product and click Request Approval if listing limitations apply. To check the status of an application, go to the Selling applications tool.
