How to sell trademarked products in the US that are not registered on Amazon?
We are planning to sell a product from a US brand. Currently, this US brand is not registered or selling on Amazon, and they plan to authorize us to sell their products on Amazon. What steps do we need to take in order to start selling on Amazon?

A trademark does not determine if you can sell a brand or not.
You can sell this brand whenever you want, as long as Amazon has not set up any restrictions for the category. Also, since the brand wants to authorize you as a seller, you will not have any problems with the brand while you sell it.
You just need things such as a digital image for the product you want to sell, UPC, Title, Bullet Points, Description, and you can upload it to your listing.

As @Seller_NbYSGJ8Tehgbv mentioned, you do not need to have a Trademark in order to sell a brand on Amazon. However, if that brand is currently not being sold, you may need to complete a selling application for that brand. Please review the Apply to sell a product, category, or brand Seller University video as this will give you the step by step process and all the requirements needed.
I also strongly recommend getting a Letter of Authorization from the Brand as this will provide further evidence of your relationship with the brand owner.
