Mettle Bank - Amazon stopped making UK disbursements

Hello,
I only sell in UK so do not need International payments.
I have been receiving Disbursements without issue up till now, but suddenly Amazon have notified me they can’t deposit to Mettle saying they are not part of Payment Service Provider.
It seems a shame as Mettle is a really good free banking service.
Does anyone else use Mettle and are you having the same issues?
Is there a way of fixing this or will I be wasting my time with seller support?
Thanks

@Jippit
I can suggest (at your own risk off course, do your research first) to maybe apply for a Starling Business Account. It’s easy/fast/free and Amazon does disbursements with no problems.
@Hornbeam_Militaria_L Tide may look and sound like a bank, but it isn’t. It is actually providing an e-money account from PrePay Solutions (PPS).

I think it may be a glitch, I disburse for UK only straight into my Barclays bank account, but for some reason when I tried today its saying you are not eligible only 1 disbursement within 24 hour period. The thing is my last disbursement was the 1st June, so will try again tomorrow hopefully it will be fixed then

Amazon are also not accepting international payments to our Tide bank account. Unsure if it is the same for UK disbursements into Tide as our UK earnings go into barclays. Really strange, everything was for for the past 3 years and then suddenly they don’t accept this bank

Yes i am in the same shoe just like you. I am using Counting up which they have been brilliant over the years but Amazon stop accepting them and now I have applied to sterling bank, hope it’s accepted.
For now I am using my personal savings account to avoid Amazon taking further action as they threatening until my new business account is ready. It’s what it is. They claimed they are doing this to protect sellers whereas I don’t think any sellers have problem in using those PSP.
You just have to comply otherwise no fund would be paid until its changed.
They first said after 21days they ll pay but now they have giving ultimatum of July to rectify the payment method. So it needs to be done.

Just double checking, does (Transfer)Wise work?

It’s what I’ve been using for the disbursements in Europe and it seems to still be working fine but they are not on the list.

Does anyone know?

I’ve found Starling to be the best by far. They’ve become our main bank.

The only issue is that everything needs to go through the app.

To open an account I’d recommend a personal one first and then from there apply to the business.
Opened a new ltd recently and it took less than 2 days to get up and running.
