How can we prove tracking ID if we use Royal mail second class?

Hi
I sold a few small things on Amazon, not worth of using recorded delivery by Royal mail, so I choose to use second class, but Amazon ask me to add tracking number, what should I do ? if i add no tracking ID, will invalid tracking number affect my rating ?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately you can’t if it’s a large letter or letter
If it was a parcel there should be a 2d barcode delivery confirmation number

If letters or large letters you select stamps/franking from the drop down box when confirming despatch

You need to select Royal Mail 2nd Class Stamps/Franking when confirming shipment. This is exempt from the calculation and so will not affect your metrics

If you just select 2nd Class, you would need to input the tracking ID shown on the label and hope that the postie scans the parcel on delivery.

So the first option is the safest

Hi Maybe someone can help. Amazon have suspended my account because i havent met the VTR and is below 95%.
All my post is done through Royal Mail click and collect but the items i sell are usually 1st class and 2nd class letters so i cant do a tracking on them and the value of the item paying for it would not be worth it. I usually just mark them off as 1st or 2nd class postage.
Is there anythin i can do to get back to selling.
Thanks

Choose Royal Mail 48 code is CRL48 through click and drop and that will solve the problem. Costs around £1 for large letters under 100g and gives delivery confirmation too.
