Obtaining an EU Eori number
I am UK based, registered for vat in UK/FR/DE/IT
I am trying to work out how to obtain a EU EORI number so I can ship goods from the UK into the FC’s in Europe. Just going round in circles. Has anyone else managed to get theirs sorted?
Thanks

So it’s a GB EORI number you need and you get it online in minutes here:
You need a separate XI EORI to ship to Northern Ireland

On the subject of EORI number the duty and VAT may varies from country to country as below. So if customer buys from the UK and imports in any of the countries below customs authorities will not release the goods until VAT and Duty has been Paid. Some couriers such as DPD offer a deferred account where they pay VAT & Duties on behalf of the seller and then recharge the seller using the deferred account. All products listed on Amazon should include taxes and duty however if the VAT is deducted at point of sale by Amazon then there maybe some confusion. Only way around this issue I would have thought is the seller includes VAT and Duty on the retail price. Use the funds to pay DPD using deferred account. Hope that makes sense

You can obtain a French one online as we did. I think it came through the same day. They also have translated instructions on how to obtain. I will look for the link. As I understand you only need one in the EU to cover you for all of the EU.
