I had forgotten about this order, did it ever arrive into Ireland?

Hello Everyone,

Hoping you are all well. This a message I got from a buyer last night 4th September. Buyer is claiming he did not receive his order. This was posted on the 6th June and delivered 12th June. Now, I believe he is asking for a refund, I was taking to a page where it states Full Refund Message Template, (I have never done a refund before) asking to send in the notification. I do not mind the refund request, It is just that someone waited three months and claiming he had forgotten about the order, and also asking if it arrived in Ireland. My question is should I click on the ' Package didn't arrive: Request a refund? Also states refund will 3 to 5 days, I have some balance with Amazon, is this taken from the balance or the money comes from my business account? I believe this called A-Z claim and would this have a negative impact on my account even though I am going to do the refund.? Any help with this will be appreciated.

Thank you

If it is at the stage of an A-Z Claim alread, if you refund, it will hit your ODR. If your ODR goes over 1%, it is possible that amazon can restrict your ability to sell (among other sanctions on your account).

So if you feel you can take the defect, you could refund. However, if you believe it has been delivered, if you have proof, you can provide this and respond to the A-Z. Do note that the A-Z claim team however tend to require a signature as proof of delivery. That being said, if you refund, you'll get hit with a defect on your ODR. If you appeal the A-Z, you might still get that, but there is always a chance you might not.
