Trying to request an exclusion, or getting an answer from seller support is practically impossible, so the ONLY realistic thing you can do here is contact your local MP, and let them fight for you.
If enough MPs get messages from their constituents they may just may be forced to take an interest.
Just go to a search engine, type in "find my local MP" email them, explain what is going on, and that you would like them to help you, and for Government to forced Amazon to respond and ultimately stop this soul destroying practice of holding on to your funds for weeks on end.
No one on here is gonna help you, so who else can you speak to?
Also worth contacting any of the consumer help journalists in the tabloids, BBC Watchdog type tv programs, Martin Lewis, just anyone you can think of that has some power.
If enough of us contact our MPs and this gets brought up in Parliament, then MAYBE we can get some help.

To be honest all this was done over a year ago and was the reason Amazon put in place the option to defer the switch - so businesses would have time to adjust.
Unlike the post office, Amazon is not owned by the tax payers so do not have to answer to the Government. The4y are not regulated.
Martin Lewis, BBC etc tend to deal with consumers and consumer rights, sellers are running businesses and very rarely these are taken up and seen as just disputes between 2 companies.
This is not unique to Amazon it is becoming common practice. Ebay have offered more protection for sellers with returns and fraud etc, wonder how long they caveat by putting in a similar policy.
MPs will do nothing - most don't even bother responding to emails. Try a change.org listing which will require 10,000 signatures to be looked at by them..
I encourage you to contact the Small Business Commissioner regarding your situation. While the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) claims they do not investigate individual complaints, they can raise concerns about your access to funds. It’s disappointing to see an unethical offer of a loan instead of providing you with access to your money when you need it most.
The Enterprise Act 2016 grants the Office of the Small Business Commissioner the authority to investigate cases where large companies engage in unfair practices, including harassment or bullying. I would argue that this situation falls within their remit to address not just contractual disputes but also unfair business practices. Additionally, the Unfair Contract Terms legislation may apply here, and I believe my case merits further investigation on these grounds.
If you need assistance navigating this process or have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I'm here to help!
I recently had a meeting with the Small Business Commissioner (SBC), where I was informed that Amazon is exploiting a legal loophole to hold people's funds without accountability. Unfortunately, this loophole cannot be addressed unless specific laws are passed by Parliament. The SBC also mentioned that Amazon can continue to get away with this practice unless someone takes them to court and successfully challenges it, which has not happened yet.
The press showed interest in this story last year but ultimately backed down due to the influence of lobbying by powerful corporations like Amazon. The only way forward would be for a group of sellers to file a collective case and pursue legal action, but without that, nothing can be done.
This issue appears to have first surfaced with Etsy, and Amazon has since adopted the same tactics. It was also compared to the post office scandal—another situation where it could take years of legal battles to resolve, during which time many sellers are losing their livelihoods due to these unfair policies.
I urge you to write to your MP to push for legal reform. Part of the reason Amazon continues to get away with this is because they are an overseas company, which allows them to evade regulations under the guise of operating internationally.
This is very good work. I have also been in contact with the Office of the Small Business Commissioner who claim there is nothing they can do because this is 'a contractual issue between Amazon and its sellers'. This is really like the Uber case. I think to get us some proper rights and protections we would have to be granted the legal status of employees, which is of course what we are, just ones without any of the rights of employees. I pointed out to OSBC that there is really no "contract", rather an ever expanding set of binding rules from Amazon, to which they can add or revise at any time they please.
We are now in a situation where our employer is forcing us to loan 100% of our salary to them interest free. If that's not an abuse of power that might interest the government then I don't know what is...
Hi I contacted the small business Commissioner regarding this matter to see if we could get this DD + 7 lifted as someone else mentioned contacting them on here. They came back to me next day to say because we had enough notice from Amazon we had time to prepare and they could not help with this matter.
We contacted the Business Secretary and received a response from the Head of Government E-Commerce, who oversees partnerships with e-commerce platforms like Amazon. The case has been assigned to her, and she will provide updates. She has requested my Amazon details, along with interaction records and reference numbers, to address the matter directly with Amazon.
Oh great. Please keep us informed. I would love to contribute if it helps.
DD+7 is better than the old system. I think it's a bit of a shock for most people but once you get through the initial transition I much prefer it to the old Account Level Reserve.
Also to clarify once you've fully transitioned to DD+7 there is no longer any amounts held in account level reserve. So you can request daily disbursements.
I'm finding it much better. You just need to manage the initial 2/3 weeks of transition without payments and then it's smooth sailing!
Our local MP is a newly elected Labour guy who has not answered any email since May. He hasn't got an office address or any staff!!! Although he did manage to run to Parliament to make sure OAPS have their winter fuel allowance taken away. Our neighbouring MPs likewise ....getting paid 95K plus 'expenses' for Jack S...
I got my exclusion back within a couple of hours of requesting it - not everyone can say its impossible.

are you missing this is a way many businesses have to work?? for example credit card payments are paid in arrears by 7 to 10 days for most businesses.. its just something you'll have to adjust to
