Verifying UTR number

Hi,

I am looking to expand my business onto Amazon but ever since starting the sign up I have had problem after problem.

First they couldn’t verify my passport when it could clearly be shown, this took a week of going back and forth to solve.

Then they wouldn’t accept a bank statement downloaded from Natwest with my name, address and account number clearly visible in pdf. After 3 days back and to again they accept it.

When I called they couldn’t find my account even though I was signed into it, apparently it doesn’t exsist so I need to get the correct email and call back… It was the correct email, I spelt it out no less than 15 times and she read it back to me every time.

Now for my UTR… I have downloaded my tax return directly from my HMRC account, first off my UTR numbers didn’t match but you could clearly see they did… because they did! Now, they can’t accept that as proof, they want a one off letter that was issued to me over 15 years ago, I don’t have it. Customer service can’t help me they say only the verification team know what is acceptable but the verification team can’t help me because I can’t talk to them.

This has been 3 weeks now and I am still no closer to being verified.

Any ideas?
