Sponsored ads for FBM?

I have an FBA and FBM listing for the same product. The FBA listing is about to stock out. The FBA listing is running sponsored ads. Will the sponsored ads automatically continue for the FBM listing or do I need to create a campaign specifically for the FBM listing?

Of course not. If you don't stop it, the ad it will continue. BUT this add is linked to this specific FBA listing. If you continue playing this add and there is no stock in inventory the customer will see "Currently unavailable".

I don't say this from experience but it seems just so logic.

You will need to add both SKUs to the ads campaign, only one that has the buy box win (normally FBA if you have stock). If you are out of stock on FBA sku, it will not run so you will need to have FBM sku in there as a backup as well. Best to add both to avoid missing out.
